Transaxle Fluid Exchange
Inside every hybrid is a transaxle that houses two electric motor-generators (called MG1 and MG2). They depend on clean fluid for cooling and lubrication. As that fluid breaks down over the miles, heat and wear build up, and repairs to this part are very expensive.
