Battery repair
Repair may mean replacing weak sections, called modules. Reconditioning tests and balances a used pack. It does not make it new.
Battery replacement
If the pack is too worn for a sound repair, replacing the whole battery may make more sense. We explain the options for your car.

Can my hybrid battery be repaired?
Sometimes. A test shows whether part of the battery can be repaired or the whole pack needs to be replaced. We explain both options before you decide.
How much will it cost?
The cost depends on your vehicle, the root cause, the parts needed, and the work involved. The same symptom can need a small fix or a major repair, so we quote your car after diagnosis instead of publishing a price or range. Diagnosis is included with the repair.
How soon can you help?
Call for the next available time. The work needed and parts in stock affect how long a repair takes. Ask for an estimate of the time before you approve the work.
Does the work come with a warranty?
Battery repairs have a 1-year warranty. Battery replacements have a 3-year / 50,000-mile warranty. Ask for the written terms for your job, including coverage and how to get help.
Do you come to me?
Repairs are handled at our shop: 8419 Terminal Rd, Lorton, VA 22079. Mobile pre-purchase inspections are available by arrangement, depending on location and availability; travel can affect the quote. Call before bringing in a car that will not start or has lost power.
Do you work on my vehicle?
We service every hybrid make and model, Tesla electric vehicles, and regular gas vehicles. We do not service diesel vehicles. Tell us the year, make, and model so we can discuss the service your car needs.
Can I drive with a hybrid warning light?
A warning light can have several causes. Follow the message on your dashboard and your owner’s manual. If the car loses power, overheats, or tells you to stop, pull over safely and arrange help.
